Strongr makes money directly from users who purchase subscriptions to access the premium features of the app. Selling your data is not something we do; or want to do.
If you are logged in to your Apple ID, your workout data is made available across all your Apple devices via the iCloud service. Strongr uses the ‘private’ iCloud database for storing all of the data you enter in the app. This means only you, or anyone you permit to use your Apple ID, can access your data.
Even we do not have access to it.
This ‘private’ iCloud database uses the data plan you have for that Apple ID. Should you wish to remove any data you save via Strongr from iCloud, you can do so by heading to:
Settings > Apple ID > iCloud on your iOS device.
Here you can toggle the switch for granting apps the ability to use your iCloud storage and also delete all current data. Bear in mind that you will not be able to recover your data if you choose to delete it this way.
If you don’t use iCloud, your data is saved locally to your iOS device (and is removed if you choose to uninstall the app).
Strongr collects anonymised data about how the app is used. Only non-personally-identifying data is collected. This data is used solely for the purpose of improving the app and its features. However, should you wish change your analytics data preference, you can do so in the Strongr app:
Settings tab > Analytics > Share With App Developer
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you may share with us. However, we cannot guarantee the security of internet or email transmission between you and us. Please bear this in mind should you decide to share any personal information with us.
